Once you have logged in, select:
Settings > DTN Mobile > Main
The Mobile Preferences page allows you to make the following adjustments:
Send a text message containing the link to DTN Mobile to your mobile device | |
Set the size of your mobile device display | |
Customize content that appears on the main page | |
Manage grain bid lookups | |
Set quote chart preferences |
After making changes, make sure to click Save Changes.
If you do not save changes, your edits will be lost.
For convenience you can send yourself a text message containing the link to DTN Mobile.
Most devices enable you to go directly to a link inside a text message.
Enter the text message address to your device in Text Message Address then click Send.
For most cellular phones the address format is phonenumber@provider.net
Enter the phone number in 10-digits (no spaces, no dashes).

Set the size of your display in Display Width.

You can customize the content that appears on your main page under Main Menu Content.
You can include any or all options. However, the more options you add, the longer it will take to load.

Under Grain Bid Lookups you can define your grain bid lookup parameters and select the elevators to display.
Each lookup appears as a link in Grain Bids.
Click Add New Lookup.
The Grain Bid Lookup entry form appears.
Provide an name for the lookup in Lookup Name.
Step 1
Enter the ZIP code and radius around the ZIP code.
Click Get Elevators.
Step 2
Select the crop to monitor from Choose Crop.
The drop down menu provides a list of crops grown within the ZIP code and radius you selected.
Click Get Bids.
The available elevators and their current bids are listed.
Step 3
Select the elevators to display on your mobile device.
Click Save.
The lookup will now be available on your mobile device.
Make changes to your lookup by clicking the Edit link next to the lookup name.
Remove a lookup by clicking the Delete link. (The lookup will be removed immediately with no confirmation.)
Make changes to your default chart frequency and type in Quote Preferences.
(These settings can be changed during your mobile online session.)
After making changes, make sure to click Save Changes.
If you do not save changes, your edits will be lost.
